Mohan Dai Oswal School of nursing was established in 1984 to promote professionalism by Ethical practice and to respond health care needs of cancer patients with the sanctioned 50 seats in first batch. The first batch of GNM was successfully passed out in 1987. The school of nursing was upgraded to a multidisciplinary beautiful building to college of nursing in 2007. The first batch of Basic B.Sc nursing was started in 2007 with 60 sanctioned seats and Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing course was started in 2009 with 30 sanctioned seats. It is one of the Ph. D Research Centre under Baba Farid University of Health sciences, Faridkot since 2019. Another feather added to the success cap of college of nursing in 2022 is enhancement of seats in B.Sc. (Nursing) from 60 to 100.
