Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing ( 2 year Degree Course)
PPMET Entrance exam will be conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot, in the month of May-June. Qualified candidates can be admitted to any of the affiliated colleges through university level counselling. College level counselling will be held to fill vacant seats (if any) as per notification of BFUHS, Faridkot. The information regarding same will be intimated through college website or newspaper.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidate should have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognized by the Punjab Nurses Registration Council & Indian Nursing Council situated in the state of Punjab..
- Candidate should be registered as Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the Punjab Nurses Registration Counci
- Candidates should have passed GNM examination as a regular candidate from a recognized institution situated in the State of Punjab for state quota seats, wherever applicable. The candidate would be required to submit a certificate to this effect from the Principal/ Head of the Institute last attended

Degree Awarded
Successful completion of course Candidate shall be awarded Degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing shall be certified with title - REGISTERED NURSE AND REGISTERED MIDWIFE maintained under the provisions of section14 of Punjab Nurses Registration Act 1932. Graduates can explore various career opportunities in the nursing field including Nurse Educator, Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Administrator.
