 Mohan Dai Oswal College of Nursing hosted an enriching ‘Faculty Development Programme’ at the Vidya Sagar Oswal Auditorium on 25 October, 2025. On the topic “Evidence based- Nursing strategies in the prevention and management of pneumonia” .The primary objective of this event was to enhance the academic and professional skills of the faculty, providing them with new insights and strategies to further improve their teaching methodologies. The program was carefully coordinated by Dr. Bency Daniel (Vice Principal), Dr. Neetu Thakur (Professor), and Mrs. Reetika Augustine (Assistant Professor), under the expert guidance of Dr. Swapna Melchisedec, the Principal of Mohan Dai Oswal College of Nursing. The event featured a series of sessions aimed at expanding knowledge and promoting evidence-based practices in nursing. The Technical session was led by Ms.Divya, Nursing Tutor who delivered insightful presentation covering recent research studies highlighting best practices in nursing to both prevent and manage pneumonia, which remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally. Faculty members participated actively, discussing real life scenarios and reflecting on ways to implement evidence based care in their own areas of work. The Faculty Development Programme was made possible due to the continuous support and leadership provided by the Chairman, Shri Jawahar lal Oswal, and the Senior Vice President (Operations), Dr. Prabbhjot Singh.
