Topic: World Health Day Celebration 2026

World Health Day was observed on 7th April 2026 by the nursing students of Mohandai Oswal College of Nursing, Ludhiana, under the guidance of Dr. Swapna Melchisedec (Principal) and Dr. Bency Daniel (Vice Principal). The programme was organized in accordance with the theme "Together for Health: Stand with Science."

As part of the celebration, an On-the-Spot Painting Competition was organized for students of all classes. The participants used paint and water colours to create artwork using brush-free techniques. Various innovative methods such as finger painting, vegetable cuttings, cloth, cotton, thumb impressions, hand prints, leaves, ear buds, and thread were used to prepare meaningful and attractive paintings based on the given theme.

In addition, the students of B.Sc. Nursing 7th Semester conducted a health awareness programme at Civil Hospital on the above theme. It was an informative and engaging session for all patients and their relatives.
