State-Level Conference on “Revolutionary Developments in Nursing : An Integrated Approach ” at Mohandai Oswal College of Nursing

Mohandai Oswal College of Nursing, Ludhiana hosted a landmark State-Level Conference on Nursing, focusing on the recent advancements and innovations in the nursing profession. The event, held on 27th November 2024, brought together experts, practitioners, and educators to discuss the evolving landscape of nursing and healthcare.

Dr. Puneet Girdhar, Registrar of the Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC), Mohali, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honor for the conference was Dr. Deepika , SMO civil hospital, Ludhiana, a highly respected figure in the health sector .

Chairman Mr. Jawahar Lal Oswal, the Chief Patron of the event, expressed his support, stating, “The advancement of nursing education is crucial for the growth of the healthcare system, and we must continue to invest in the development of our future nurses.”

The conference featured distinguished resource persons Dr.Triza jiwan (Principal College of Nursing, DMCH), Dr. Hardeep Kaur (Principal University College of Nursing, Faridkot), Dr.Davinder Kaur (Principal, Gian Sagar College of Nursing), Mrs. Sahayee Dhasan, Nursing Superintendent MOH, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, General Manager HR MOH. They conducted insightful scientific sessions, sharing their expertise and fostering an engaging learning environment. Principals and Professors from different reputed Nursing colleges were witnessed as chairpersons.

The conference was meticulously organized by a dedicated team led by Dr. Swapna Melchisedec, Principal of Mohandai Oswal College of Nursing, as the Organizing Chairperson,Professor Bency Daniel (Vice Principal) and Professor Rubia served as the Organizing Secretaries. A total of 18 Colleges from across Punjab marked their presence, making the event a significant platform for knowledge exchange and professional growth.
