Admission Guidelines
  • are admitted only on the day of procedure.
  • All pre-operative / pre-admission investigations as advised by your doctor should be done prior to admission. Home sample collection services care@home can be availed at 022 67668181 / 45108181 between 8a.m to 8p.m. Charges range from ₹130 to ₹200*/visit/ person depending on the collection location.
  • You may bring any other previous reports for reference.
  • You are requested to carry the medicines, inhalers you are currently prescribed.
  • A list of any known allergies and sensitivities if any should be mentioned.
  • Deposits as mentioned by your doctor give a tentative idea of bill amount. You may keep some cash for miscellaneous purposes in case of emergency.
  • Fasting instructions and preadmission medication instructions should be confirmed with the doctor and adhered to.
  • Please refrain from carrying any valuables to the hospital. The hospital is not responsible for any loss of money or valuable during stay.
  • Female patients due for surgery need to remove make up, jewellery and nail varnish before admission.
  • Luggage, blankets, outside food including fruits, flowers are not allowed in the hospital.
  • Arrange a ride home beforehand, patient may feel drowsy after surgery/procedure.

When Can One Avail Care@Home?
  • We provide home healthcare services to those who cannot stay in the hospital owing to their physical and/or psychological limitations. This service is ideal for those who do not need doctor intervention on a daily basis.
  • Patients who stay far from the hospital can also opt for this service, saving up on travel and transaction time costs, since home care visit charges are comparatively lesser. Qualified and experienced nurses from our hospital provide a range of services at your home for faster recovery.

  • When it comes to healing, there is no place better than home. This is especially true for patients who are recovering from critical conditions or who require post-surgery care. It is believed that patients recover faster in an environment that is familiar, along with the emotional support of loved ones.
Pre admission & Admission Requirements

In the case of a planned admission, you would have first consulted a doctor who in turn would have advised you on the probable date of hospitalisation. In such a case, you must apply for approval of the estimated hospital expenses directly by your TPA at least 4-5 days prior to the date of hospitalisation.

In case you have not applied for pre-authorisation sufficiently in advance or if the doctor treating you advises you to get hospitalised immediately after the consultation, our Corporate Help Desk (Phone: 022-24460649 / 24447543) will assist you through the pre-authorisation procedure.However, the Corporate Help Desk is only a facilitator and can in no way influence the decision on the approval. Your TPA may not grant approval due to any of the following reasons:

If the ailment for which you are hospitalised is not covered in your policy.

If the information contained in pre-authorisation form is insufficient to approve the request, though most of the time the TPA will request the hospital if additional information is needed.

If you have exhausted the sum assured for that year.

The pre-authorisation procedure is detailed below

Step 1: Establish contact with the Corporate Help Desk at the hospital.

Step 2: At the Corporate Help Desk, you need to present the original Health Insurance card issued to you by your TPA.

Step 3: Collect the pre-authorisation forms pertaining to your TPA.

Step 4: Your pre-authorisation form will have two sections-

  • General details on the health insurance policy - to be filled in by you (the Corporate Desk will assist you in case you have any difficulty).
  • The treatment recommended for you-to be filled in and duly signed by the doctor who is treating you (Do not attempt to fill this section, contact the Corporate Desk in case of any difficulty).
