National Cancer Survivor Day Celebrated at Mohandai Oswal Hospital

Ludhiana, June 8, 2024 - National Cancer Survivor Day, an annual event dedicated to honoring and supporting cancer survivors, is celebrated in Mohandai Oswal Hospital. The event aims to raise awareness about cancer survivorship, recognize the courage and strength of survivors, and promote the importance of early detection and treatment. Cancer survivors from different area of Punjab and vicinity a participated and share their story while fighting cancer. On this occasion Dr Meenisha-DIO, Ludhiana was invited as chief guest. Dr Meenisha admired the perseverance and optimistic attitude of all the cancer survivors present for the event. She also appreciated the efforts made by Mohandai Oswal Hospital, Ludhiana for organizing such motivational event.

The Cancer Specialists of Mohandai Oswal Hospital including Dr Raman Arora, Dr Kanupriya Bhatia, Dr Yogesh Arora and Dr Ankur Mittal also delivered awareness lecture on Cancer during which more than 400 people are addressed. Doctors informed that Cancer is a scary word, no doubt about it. But thanks to advances in medicine and technology, more and more people are surviving cancer every day. We can save millions of lives by, early detection and timely treatment of cancer.
